Software
The advantage of the Hawkeye solution is that it is web based, giving you the ability to view your vehicles from anywhere in the world. Simply visit the Hawkeye website with you username and password in hand to view your fleet.
The online solution is very straightforward however online support and manuals are available (links at base of page) as are the members of our national support network available on the following number (number).
Viewing Vehicle Location
This basic function can be used to view the current location of your vehicle by simply clicking on the vehicle number or alternatively view the location of all your vehicles at once in the event you are looking for the closest
vehicle to a job site or area.
Google Earth mapping enables viewing of street address and by viewing the aerial photography, you can even see where the vehicle is in the yard or block.
Each vehicle indicator is colour coded to indicate whether it has its ignition on or off, is speeding, excessive idling or at a waypoint. If you have recorded vehicle number, registration and driver name these details will also be displayed through the hover over function of the Hawkeye Solution. If the vehicle is in motion, an arrow will also display in the vehicle indicator showing direction of travel.
History Replay
This software will also allow you to enter a date and time range in the past to view the vehicles travel historically. You can replay the drivers journey with all the indicators normally available in the live mapping section available on the history replay.
Waypoint Management
Waypoints are a convenient way to retrospectively manage visits to customer sites, depots and other geographic points of interest.
Once a way point is setup and named in the system, the name of the way point the vehicle is located at, such as “Smiths Fasteners” is visible on Hawkeye’s live mapping. Fleet managers can then view simple reports showing when vehicles have attended way points and the time spent at each one.
Reporting
The system comes complete with 15 reports. These range from trip reports showing the start and end location of every trip, through to detailed reports, customer way point reports, location reports and many more.
All reports are simply launched into excel which can then be saved down to your computer at will.
